Charities we support

Our mission has always been to help out charities that are important to us as much as we possibly can. We want to share with you some of these important organizations we support monthly and encourage anyone who can help to check them out.

Orangutan Foundation International (https://orangutan.org/)

This charity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of wild orangutans and their rainforest habitat. They also support research on orangutans and forests, education initiatives, both local and international, and brings awareness concerning orangutans wherever it can.

We are proud fosters of Trudeau, a little orangutan with a big personality. We have been members and visited Borneo and this beautiful organization for many years now. There are many fostering options to choose from! Let us know if you foster any!

SOS Galgos (https://www.sosgalgos.com/)

Every year in Spain tens of thousands of Galgos (Spanish greyhounds) are found in dire straits. Within the hunting community of galgueros (hunters who own greyhounds) it is generally accepted that when a greyhound is no longer competitive, which is usually after two or three hunting seasons, it is considered “soiled” and no longer of any use to the hunter. Over the years, as well as raising public awareness of the issue, SOS Galgos has rescued, rehabilitated and given a new home to some 3,000 greyhounds.

We have been members of SOS Galgos for many years now, and have fostered dozens of dogs, as well as volunteered in organizing events, fundraisers or donating products as their sponsors. Consider adopting one of these amazing dogs or donating to their cause!

With the natural and climate emergency we are living in now, we think supporting this charity is the perfect way to contribute a little to make the world a better place.

SOS Podenco Rescue is a Spanish based charity that saves spanish podencos. They have many dogs for adoption and they work 100% off donations made by people. Their facebook page ( @sos.podencorescue.7) has many posts regarding dogs for adoption, fosters and additional information!
